I feel that Dawn of the Dead(1978)story was influenced more by Argento than that of Romero.....it just feels more italian influenced and it seems that Romero has struggled since then to write a decent zombie film since...I mean Day of the Dead was okay but in no way was it as bleak and fun as the original Dawn...my opinion
